Last seen when it was shattered by Thor’s sister Hela, Mjolnir is back and wielded by a new hero worthy of its power – the Mighty Thor! In Marvel Studios’ “Thor: Love and Thunder” the God of Thunder (Chris Hemsworth) teams up with King Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), Korg (Taika Waititi), and ex-girlfriend-turned-Mighty Thor Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) to take on a galactic killer known as Gorr the God Butcher (Christian Bale).
In addition to these rocking consoles, GOAT commentator Alex ‘Goldenboy’ Mendez celebrated the release of the film with a shout cast of the most bombastic The GOAT PC Game Pass Showdown we have ever done. Two Australian gamers DominoJack and GeekGG went head-to-head from the Australian red carpet premiere of Marvel Studios’ “Thor: Love and Thunder,” which was attended by Chris Hemsworth, challenging eachother in Goat Simulator with PC Game Pass, vying for the right to be crowned the ultimate GOAT. Taking inspiration from the mystical, oversized goats introduced in “Thor: Love and Thunder” – Toothgnasher and Toothgrinder – the showdown is available for viewing now and you can celebrate by playing Goat Simulator with PC Game Pass. Be sure to check it out before you see Marvel Studios’ “Thor: Love and Thunder,” opening in U.S. theaters July 8.
About Marvel Studios’ “Thor: Love and Thunder”
Marvel Studios’ “Thor: Love and Thunder” finds the God of Thunder (Chris Hemsworth) on a journey unlike anything he’s ever faced – one of self-discovery. But his efforts are interrupted by a galactic killer known as Gorr the God Butcher (Christian Bale), who seeks the extinction of the gods. To combat the threat, Thor enlists the help of King Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), Korg (Taika Waititi), and ex-girlfriend Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), who – to Thor’s surprise – inexplicably wields his magical hammer, Mjolnir, as the Mighty Thor. Together, they embark upon a harrowing cosmic adventure to uncover the mystery of the God Butcher’s vengeance and stop him before it’s too late. Directed by Taika Waititi (“Thor: Ragnarok,” “Jojo Rabbit”) and produced by Kevin Feige and Brad Winderbaum, “Thor: Love and Thunder” opens in U.S. theaters July 8, 2022.
