PlayStation Plus subscribers’ free Essential games for the month of December are Lego 2K Drive, PowerWash Simulator, and Sable, Sony Interactive Entertainment announced on Wednesday. Players can download the trio of PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 games beginning Tuesday, Dec. 5.
Lego 2K Drive blends the vibes of Lego, Mario Kart, and Forza Horizon, delivering open-world driving hijinx and races full of power-ups, boost pads, and plenty of drifting in the land of Bricklandia. Developed by 2K Games’ Visual Concepts, Lego 2K Drive features a story mode, online races, and local multiplayer. Lego 2K Drive is available for PS4 and PS5.
PowerWash Simulator is, well, a power washing simulator. Clean filthy houses, driveways, cars, and whatever else is caked in dirt, in this chill vibes game. With free expansions, you can even clean Cloud Strife’s bike from Final Fantasy 7 or Croft Manor from Tomb Raider. PowerWash Simulator is available for PS4 and PS5.
Sable is a gorgeously rendered open-world adventure set in a vast desert landscape, where players can explore, climb, and hoverbike their way through its world. Bonus: It features a soundtrack composed of cerebral ambient music by musician Japanese Breakfast. Sable is available for PS5.
December’s PS Plus Essential games will be available to download through Jan. 1, 2024.
PlayStation Plus subscribers can still pick up November’s PlayStation Plus Essential games — Aliens: Fireteam Elite, Dragon Ball: The Breakers, and Mafia 2: Definitive Edition — until Dec. 4.
