Batman: Arkham Knight owners can now cosplay as Robert Pattinson’s caped crusader from The Batman, with a free skin available for all versions of the game. If you’re having a bit of déjà vu right now, it’s because that Batman costume was released (and then retracted) in the Epic Games Store release of Arkham Knight way back in October, and was also made available in the Nintendo Switch collection that just came out.
But your best argument for revisiting the 2015 finale of Rocksteady Studios’ Arkham trilogy is now here, regardless of where you’re playing. Batman: Arkham Knight is available on Nintendo Switch (as part of the Batman: Arkham Trilogy), PlayStation 4, Windows PC, and Xbox One.
Don’t expect anything beyond the new “Battinson” skin in Batman: Arkham Knight’s latest update. The update is a relatively small one across all platforms, consisting of nothing more than the fun new cosmetic for players. Here’s what it looks like in-game:
Batman: Arkham developer Rocksteady Studios is currently in making a new game set in its Arkhamverse, but well outside of Gotham City. The studio’s long-awaited Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is slated to arrive on Feb. 2, 2024, after a series of delays, on PlayStation 5, Windows PC, and Xbox Series X. The game will feature the final appearance of the late Kevin Conroy as the voice of Batman.
The Batman, directed by Matt Reeves and starring Robert Pattinson, Zoë Kravitz, Paul Dano, Colin Farrell, and Jeffrey Wright, is currently streaming on Netflix and Max.
