The Animal Crossing-themed Nintendo Switch Lite is on sale at Walmart for the lowest price we’ve seen anywhere. Right now you can pick up the console for $159 (was $199.99), which includes a downloadable copy of Animal Crossing: New Horizons, the coziest island sim you can imagine. The teal-hued Switch Lite, officially dubbed “Timmy & Tommy’s Aloha Edition” after the game’s raccoon twins, features New Horizons’ leaf insignia on both the front and back of the console.
This is a deal we’ve seen before from Walmart back in July, and we’re very happy the retailer has brought it back. As Animal Crossing: New Horizons normally costs $59.99, the Switch Lite and game bundle is essentially a $260 value but for $100 off. Note that the Switch Lite is a handheld-only device; unlike its bigger siblings, the regular Switch and Switch OLED, this unit cannot be plugged into a TV or monitor. That said, the Switch Lite is a great size to bring on trips, and Animal Crossing is a wonderful pick-up-and-play game whether you’re traveling to your own island vacation or if you’re binge-watching something on TV and wanted to multitask.
