How to find Crackshot’s Cabin in Fortnite Winterfest Chapter 5 Season 1

Crackshot’s Cabin is a returning POI for Fortnite’s Chapter 5 Season 1, introduced during the Winterfest event.

This year, Crackshot’s Cabin spawns on the floating loot island. And that makes it a little harder to find — which you’ll need to do to complete stage 3 of the “Ship It! Express Snapshot” quest that reads “Visit Crackshot’s Cabin when the floating loot island appears.”

How to find Crackshot’s Cabin in Fortnite Winterfest

The floating loot island where you’ll find Crackshot’s Cabin doesn’t appear at the beginning of the match. In fact, it doesn’t spawn until the fourth storm circle. So, the first step in finding the cabin is just waiting (and surviving) for a while.

When the fourth storm begins, a rift icon will appear on your map. If you look in that direction, you’ll also get a HUD marker for the floating loot island. The island won’t actually spawn until there’s a player within 100m of it.

All that’s left is to head there and use one of the dangling cables to zip up to the island and complete this stage of the quest.
