If you’ve been shopping around for an Xbox Series X this holiday season, but missed some of the more notable discounts on the Microsoft console, you’re in luck. Microsoft recently announced via Twitter that the standard version of the Xbox Series X will be available for just $399.99 throughout the holiday season (was $499.99).
While this new price is tempting, it’s worth noting that the standalone Xbox Series X and the Diablo 4 bundle have been available for less. In fact, the Xbox Series X is currently discounted to $349.99 at Walmart and for Target Circle Club members.
It isn’t clear how long this particular discount might last, but you can also find the Xbox Series X on sale for $399.99 at Amazon, Best Buy, and GameStop in addition to the Diablo 4 bundle, which is available from Xbox, Target, and GameStop for $399.99.
If Diablo 4 isn’t your style, a variety of bundles that include Modern Warfare 3, Forza Horizons 5, Forza Motorsport, Halo Infinite, or additional controllers are also available for $399.99 from Antononline.
Microsoft hasn’t confirmed anything regarding a leak that spoiled details surrounding its disc-free Xbox Series X, but it’s possible that the original model of the Xbox Series X model is being priced to move, much like Sony has recently done with the PS5 model it’s obsolescing.
