Lego Fortnite is the sandbox survival game mode added to Fortnite in Chapter 5 Season 1, but can you actually complete your battle pass from only playing it?
The short answer is yes, you can earn XP in Lego Fortnite, but there is a daily cap.
How to earn XP in Lego Fortnite
The game doesn’t tell you when you earn XP, but you are given levels and battle stars once you leave the game mode.
As you either play Lego Fortnite or just leave it on, you’ll gain 30,000 XP per 15 minutes. After earning 420,000 XP (which would take around 3.5 hours), you’ll cap out for the day and you won’t gain any more XP, with that much XP giving you around five levels. That said, you could technically leave your Lego Fortnite on in a creative world while you do other things and just gain free levels this way every day.
There’s also a few tutorial quests that’ll give you a level each.
You can gain up to four levels from completing a few tutorial-level quests, such as starting a creative world, building a workbench in survival, and entering a cave.
